An Attic An Exit @ Unknown Dance Series

In what their promotional materials call "a theatrical tour-de-force," Hollywood's Unknown Theater continues its 2008 Dance Series with Lean To Productions' evening length An Attic An Exit for two weeks (Thursday-Sunday July 17-27).
Describing the work as Looney-tunes comedy meets magical-realist mystery in a single room crammed full with riddles, levitation, baking supplies, and two meticulously explorative twins, An Attic An Exit follows white-faced, white-haired longtime collaborators Rachael Lincoln and Leslie Seiters as they're caught amidst the household clutter of saucers, silverware, and salt. Seeing the premiere at the San Francisco International Arts Festival, Allan Ulrich of VoiceofDance.com called the work "a rare pleasure and . . . a highlight" of the festival.
Both artists currently spend most of their time outside of LA, Seiters on the faculty at San Diego State University and Lincoln in the Bay Area. They've danced for highly respected folks like Sara Shelton Mann, Jo Kreiter and Joe Goode (among others), so we can expect high quality work.
