TV Junkie: Tuesday
Looks like big media service companies aren't immune to the temptation of outsourcing their workforce - the most recent case is the media metrics leader, Nielsen Co. After taking millions of dollars in tax breaks for promising jobs at a Florida data center, Nielsen has outsourced the positions to an Indian-based offshore provider - makes one respect the numbers Nielsen spews out even less.
8:00pm Wipeout ABC - This is only listed here because you told the TV Junkie that you like to watch people hurt themselves.
8:00pm Big Brother CBS - Season Premiere (Tuesday edition).
9:00pm Hurl! G4 - Series Premiere. As profiled in TV Junkie earlier this month, this is the show where the contestants pig out and then are "stressed" until they puke/hurl. Since LAist readers have stated a preference for "Wipeout", this is another in the genre.
9:00pm America's Got Talent NBC - Who advances to the "Vegas Callbacks"?
9:00pm Deadliest Catch DISCOVERY - Season Finale
10:00pm Flipping Out BRAVO - Jeff must decide if, after so many chances, he must finally fire Chris Elwood.
10:00pm From G's to Gents MTV - Series Premiere
10:00pm The Cleaner A&E - Series Premiere. Yet another basic cable drama with religious overtones.
11:35pm The Late Show With David Letterman CBS - Actress Meryl Streep; actor Aaron Eckhart; Randy Travis performs.
12:05am Jimmy Kimmel LIVE ABC - Actor Andy Samberg; actress Minnie Driver; Shwayze performs. One wonders if Kimmel will mention his breakup with Sarah Silverman.

That show hurts to watch... (wipeout). And not from laughing.... so bad.

I caught a bit of Hurl on my way out of work tonight.... Wow.
Eat as much as you can, then get thrown in a hamster ball?
Whenever I check the cable at work for something to watch, I flip through 500 channels... nothing is on.
Reminds me of why I don't have cable, or even rabbit ears on my tv.
