Yes, it should read 112 days, not 475. Thanks for keeping us on our toes. And, Ziggity, McCain has been to SoCal twice in the past month. L.A. did not make it on the itinerary for both visits. Of course scheduling is part of the strategy, but that does not mean we cannot ask why he chooses not to visit the biggest city in the state.

How about: "If Obama is leaving no stone unturned, McCain seems to be skipping over every stone"? Just trying to help a little with your Creative Writing struggles. 475 days until the election? Is that next November? Do you know we have an election coming up? And I realize you have a bias here, but is "avoid" the best verb to use in the headline? Do you know he's "avoiding Los Angeles"? Perhaps his strategy is to fundraise here at a later time. Perhaps, for campaign purposes, he's written L.A. off. Who knows? But "avoid" is pretty loaded and very presumptuous.
