Culver City's Rush Street Opens Its Doors
Friday night's grand opening party for the highly anticipated Rush Street in Culver City was an evening of fun food and drinks; inside the incredible space on Washington Boulevard were gathered friends of the restaurant, folks from the neighborhood, local dignitaries, and a handful of LAisters, all eager to get a taste of the new bar and eatery.
LAist Featured Photos contributor Michael Ngim (aka hinducow) was on hand along with our Caroline on Crack to snap pics of the event (the rest of us just ate and drank, thanks!) Ngim describes the one-time sign shop turned upscale bar: "The curved, wood-beamed ceilings and dark brick walls combined with the upstairs loft makes for a unique Chi-town vibe. Comfy lounge couches, ottomans and a second bar in the loft area is a perfect perch to people watch. Continuing further back is an unexpected "dancing" pole leading to a rooftop patio. The atmosphere at Rush Street is fun, comfortable, stylish and energetic."
