Artist Jenny Beorkrem says ""I started off with the rule that is was the city limits and that's it." Pssst. The City of Santa Monica is an incorporated city within the State of California. The City of Santa Monica stands as a separate legal entity from the City of Los Angeles. Santa Monica gets worldwide notice. How could this artist make such a glaring mistake?

I may order this, but it's frankly a little disappointing. I understand why the southern beach communities aren't in there, but it looks weird with all that white space there. The New York and Chicago ones looked a lot better, but it's a fairly small poster (two feet by three feet), and I do enjoy being a little contrarian and showing some LA pride from time to time.
