LAst Night's Action: No No-No

LA Dodgers defeat Atlanta Braves 3-0. It was Mark Teixeira's double to lead off the eighth inning that broke up Hiroki Kuroda's perfect game. And it was that double that was the only blemish of Kuroda's game who pitched the entire game striking out six, walking none while throwing only 91 pitches in 2:03. Offensively, Blake DeWitt went 3-3 while Nomar Garciaparra smashed a hanging curve to the Dodger bullpen in the fifth inning to drive in James Loney. With the win, the Dodgers reach one game under .500 and are now tied with the Diamondbacks for first place in the NL West.
LA Angels defeat Texas Rangers 9-6. Almost inexplicably the Angels exploded for six runs in the second inning, and even that didn't make things comfortable. Starter Ervin Santana collpased in the fifth inning giving up five runs shrinking their lead to two runs. The Angels eventually pulled it out with Scot Shields and Francisco Rodriguez getting it done in the final two frames.
Notable Notes
I'm still speechless about the Wimbledon men's final. While many consider Nadal the favorite to win the US Open, it will come down to Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic.
Talking with friends about the team-formerly-known-as-the-Seattle-Supersonics, I came up with the perfect nickname for them: Oklahoma Sexuals.
Seriously. Brett Favre's not dead yet

Gorgeous game. I know it was Kuroda who deserved player of the game, but DeWitt sure would be a close second. I hope he gets to stay on with the Dodgers for a while, one of my favorite players.
