BREAKING GALAXY NEWS: Reinforcements Arrive (Almost)

The Galaxy have officially confirmed rumors that had been floating around for the last few days pertaining to a new defensive acquisition in the form of Argentina's Eduardo Dominguez. While the new arrival won't see any action till all the paperwork is taken care of, the addition of an experienced defender should help the Galaxy stabilize the team as they prepare for the second half of the season.

The team will also need to make room for Dominguez by clearing a senior roster spot. It would seem as though Greg Vanney or Pete Vagenas are the likely choices, but time will tell.

On a related note, the rumor of a second defensive signing, Osman Chavez, has been gaining a little more steam. Chavez was recently quoted (Spanish) in the Honduran press as stating that it is a possibility, but no deal has been reached as of yet. The article also mentions that New York is another possible destination.
