quick note, i'm going to this...... where is the best place to park at the hollywood bowl?? Or best way of getting there? I'm getting tired of paying 19 bucks for parking. Also, is tonight a leased event?

Best way of getting there? This is how I do it:
Red Line to Hollywood/Highland, Walk 10 minutes, boom, you're there. If taking the Red Line is not a good option, you can also just park at Hollywood/Highland, buy a coffee, get validated and walk to the Bowl. Lots of people do it. At the end of the night when everybody is leaving, the sidewalks are full of life.

I often park in the Ford lot across the 101 for the Bowl, but at the last leased event I went to -- The Police -- they had something else going on and I ended up having to pay the $20-whatever bucks.
I'll be doing the Ho-Hi walk-up too. Should be a great show, friends in Chicago said he put on a 3-hour extravaganza last week.

in anticipation of being lazy / in a bind to get to the Bowl on time I called the Ford -- there WILL be parking for Stevie Wonder in the Ford lot tonight. I consider this to be one of my best LA secrets, so please, save a spot for me -- parking in the Ford lot for Bowl shows is usually $5-$10, just tell the attendant you're parking for the Bowl so you don't end up on the wrong side of the lot.

My preferred way:
Park at the lot at Lankershim and Ventura. Pay $3 for the shuttle.
No stacked parking. No waiting for trains. Shuttles are waiting right out in front for you when you leave. Nice n' easy.
