LAX Security to Get Eye Scanners & Fingerprint Readers
Earlier this month, Clear, the "Fly Through Airport Security fast pass, announced its partnership with Delta Airlines. It's one of those Registered Traveler Programs you can sign up for to speed through security lines after doling out $128. By the end of the month, Terminal 5 at LAX will have this system set up.
How does it work? You go to Clear's separate security line, have your ID checked, show your Clear membership card and boarding pass, insert card into a machine, place a finger on a biometric reader and get your eyes scanned. Clear also has technology yet to be used at airports that would scan shoes for explosive residue.

yeah, but flying just wouldn't be the same without de-shoeification and the occasional secondary screening in the shit-scaring air puffer module.

Don't they also issue those cards at the Scientology center?
