You forgot Current TV's Vanguard journalism that premiered tonight @10pm I recommend that channel to everyone. Tonight it was about the plight of OFWs, Overseas Filipino Workers, all over the world. That Tracey Chang sure is something, physically and intellectually speaking!!!

thanks for the comments everyone - I agree that it's easy to laugh at any schmuck who's subjecting themselves to this but "MXC" was so much more than "Wipeout", it's probably my fault for comparing them

Agreed Wipeout is no MXC. In fact, last night's episode might have seen my interest peak. And I shut off that I Survived A Blahbity Blah Blah barely 10 minutes into it.

Saw Wipeout for the first time last night. I had a blast, even if, as my roomie noted, this is THE lowest common denominator type of show out there. I just wish I could go on those challenges without being on the show.

Summer TV has gotten so blow-y that even my lazy ass has started jogging around the neighborhood in the evenings rather than sit through more dreck.

I like Wipeout BECAUSE of "Most Extreme Elimination Challenge." I think MXC is funnier, but I don't have Spike anymore so Wipeout will do for the time being.
