Study Reveals Adult Industry is Enjoying Bush’s Stimulus Package

Bush Stimulus Package sure is tastyAccording to an independent market-research firm, AIMRCo (Adult Internet Market Research Company), the porn industry, specifically online properties providing adult content and erotic material are experiencing some swollen numbers in recent weeks thanks to the checks of up to $600 for individuals and $1,200 for married couples that the Bush Administration’s Economic Stimulus Plan handed out this spring.

In a press release issued today by the firm that “specializes in gathering, interpreting and distributing data on the online adult market,” head researcher Kirk Mishkin said, "Many of the sites we surveyed have reported 20-30% growth in membership rates since mid-May when the checks were first sent out, and typically the summer is a slow period for this market."

In case you skimmed past that last paragraph, here’s a list of what you just missed:
1) Kirk Mishkin earns a paycheck for his extensive research in the area of porn
2) People actually pay for porn
3) Porn has a slow period

Jillian Fox a spokesperson for LSGModels.com (NSFW unless you’re name is Kirk Mishkin or you work for the booming porn industry, in which case click away while lighting your cigar with a $100 bill) provides the following quote in the press release, "In a June 15, 2008 survey to our members, thirty two percent of respondents referenced the recent stimulus package as part of their decision to either become a new member, or renew an existing membership."

Mission accomplished! The Bush Administration: boosting the economy and creating jobs…in porn.
