<description>&lt;p&gt;Maybe it&apos;s a semantic argument, but while a case can be &quot;cleared&quot; by the investigators, it shouldn&apos;t be reported as &quot;solved&quot; before a guilty conviction is returned at the conclusion of the trial.

Not to take away from the detectives hard work, but while Hughes may very well be the culprit, that&apos;s for the courts and a jury to decide.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
