EXPERIENCE WATER MEETS DANCE MEETS CHINATOWN...THE MOVIE: Stephan Koplowitz's Liquid Landscapes begins tonight via Grand Performances with the showing of original dance film inspired by locations from Roman Polanski’s Chinatown, followed by a screening of Chinatown itself. It's the start of a one-week dance tour of LA inspired by water and sites that have to do with water.

SEE A FILM: It's the last day of the Greek Film Festival, and there are seven films left to see. Today there's a triptych about fire, some with NYC flavor, and a closing night gala. Check the schedule for film synopses, times, and locations.

POOL PARTY!: SacredGroundsLA/ChemistryLA are hosting Aqua Groove, a 21+ pool party at The Flat that's about chilling out, enjoying music (DJ SNEAK, DJ LOU, G-DUBBS), and having fun in the sun. (Here are some pictures of pretty people enjoying the event earlier this month).

DRINK WINE AND BE FRENCHY: Los Feliz's Mes Amis French Restaurant wants to tempt you with tasting some wine tonight. Each Sunday they highlight a different region of France, and give you some bread and cheese to help sop up the boozy goodness. Grab a seat on the patio and watch the folks go by...

DANCE LIKE IT WAS HOLLYWOOD'S GOLDEN AGE: For tonight only, the Cicada downtown will become Maxwell DeMille's Cicada Club, where you can dance the night away like it was the swinging 30s. Enjoy dinner and drinks in the glamorous dining room and show off your moves to the sounds of Jennifer Keith and the High Society Boys. You don't have to dress vintage, but you do kinda hafta dress up!

Other things to do: Eat a 3-course prix fixe for $19 at 15, get your Brady Bunch on live and in person, have a leisurely brunch in WeHo, see some bodies, or figure out if Let's Be Frank really is the BEST hot dog in LA.
