I've actually come to like the Bowl. It's the only venue where I can pack up a dinner and grab a bottle of wine, catch a $3 shuttle, and enjoy a nice night out for about $10 beyond the cost of tickets. And the sound system seems to have been much improved in recent years. Good seats are more expensive than other venues, but the cheap seats are cheaper. I've headed out to shows there with no tickets and $20 in the pocket and come home with change.

My parent's get tickets for every damn show there it seems, no matter what it is, or if they know the act or not, just to drink wine outside–inviting me every once in awhile. But this is one of those that I'll gladly stay in and drink my wine at home.
