Most days you'll find, owner Sue Moore standing behind the grill. She offers organic grilled onions, sauerkraut, mustard, ketchup, and sometimes amazing spicy home-made pickles. Ooh, what serendipitous neighbor posts!
Ah Hot Dogs..the only thing this vegetarian misses, thanks for the temptation Julie
I moved here from Chicago 5 years ago and have been waiting for this. So far, completely underwhelmed, with my choices. These look like the dogs of someone who actually loves dogs. And it also looks like it's served out of a taco truck. Hope she doesn't have to move every hour. Can't wait.
Am I the only one who thinks that five clams for a hot dog, no matter how tasty, is way too friggin much?
It's not a way too much but it's definitely less hot dog than you should get for that price $5.
I've been pining for one of these for months. But at the banker's hours the proprietor keeps, no wonder I've yet to experience the joy.
They serve Frank Dogs at The Edison and at Food on Pico. Also Lesley at Eater LA just reminded me that they have cart next to The Other Room on Abbot Kinney around 7pm Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.

Now I am getting hungry. Time for a dog!
Be sure to check out Vicious Dogs at Lankershim & Magnolia in NoHo for some incredible hot dogs in the Valley. The owner is also probably one of the nicest people I've met in the city as well...great spot!
let's be real frank. how many hot dog dealers are there. I can make a mean oscar meyer at home, doesn't take much to make it taste real good, especially if you pay $5 and don't want to feel bad about it. Truly the only reason why you'd stand in line at this place is because a) Father's Office was too full or b) you are waiting for your furniture order to be processed. 2 words buddy, Big Bite. 7-11 makes a mean hot dog and you know what - it is 1/4 of the price. Who cares about the after taste a few hours later, it is a hot dog for Christ's sake, not a filet mignon.
