So, yesterday evening, about 7:00pm, I'm waiting for the subway to North Hollywood. I know, I know. Why didn't I just bike there like I always do? I'd forgotten my lights at home and had a last minute band rehearsal, so I had to take the subway to get there on time.

Not the point. I'm waiting for the subway when some creepy voice comes over the intercom and calmly informs us all that we are NOT to board the next train. Every passenger will need to clear the train as Metro Security conducts a random "sweep" of the train. Then we could board.

Of course, when the train arrived, no such thing happened. It was fucking CREEPY. No one knew what the message was and I asked the conductor and he said he knew nothing about it.

Also, coming back from NoHo, the train was late and took over 5 minutes to get from Wilshire/Vermont to Wilshire/MacArthur Park. One side of the track was closed because they were cleaning the walls. Might this have been the source of the closed track?

Oh, and Metro service SUCKS so much lately.
