Confronting the paparazzi is one thing, but to confront a tagger always leads to the same headline: someone is shot trying to interfere with a tagger. Yesterday, a businessman confronted two taggers who were defacing a business near Hollywood and Vine. He's currently in the hospital in "critical but stable condition," according to Ruby Malachi at the LAPD. Detectives have some good leads and did serve one search warrant last night in Tujunga, but no arrests were made. Malachi says that if you see tagging in action, do not approach, but call 911 and give the best description you can (clothing, license plate, tattoos, etc).

Piece of sh*t taggers.
Wait, I thought these guys were street artists? How is one supposed to tell the difference before the paint dries?
there is a difference between tagging and street art. taggers just usually put their names kinda crude (sometimes they're in gangs and sometimes not) and the street art is usually done by, well, artists.
Some good leads - like the guy's name written on the wall?
Field - to reword, should both be treated as threats until the paint dries?
