Ford Flex Scavenger Hunt and Band from TV Afterparty

cmw20080621-710.jpgLast Saturday Ford and "Band from TV" partnered together in Downtown LA to launch the Ford Flex with a charity scavenger hunt through that roamed throughout Los Angeles, raising money for various charities.

Basically the event challenged each team to use the interactive technologies of the new vehicle - Ford brands the Flex as a vehicle for "urban adventures" so it seems the scavenger hunt was created to showcase exactly that. Too bad one of those adventures wasn't, "How to talk your way out of not to getting your new truck jacked when you're lost somewhere near Downtown" - perhaps next year. Ten celebrity teams participated in the hunt. However, there could be only one team victor. Driver Oliver Hudson and teammate was that team.

Hayden%201.jpgJames Denton, Hayden Panettierre - sporting a new, shorter do (from what it appeared, is still hot and heavy with 'He's Almost Old Enough to be Your Father' Milo Ventimiglia, and looking a bit like a young, pre-crazy Britney Spears...) and Jamie Kennedy hung out afterwards at the Edison downtown for the afterparty, where"Band from TV" and the Ravonettes performed. The crowd seemed more West Hollywood/Cahuenga Corridor but fit in nicely at the Edison.

The Band is composed of TV stars who perform and raise money for seperate charities of their choosing. The members include James Denton (guitar), Greg Grunberg (drums), Bob Guiney (vocals), Teri Hatcher (vocals), Hugh Laurie (keyboards), Bonnie Somerville (vocals), and Jessie Spencer (violin).
