From what I've read about it, if you're driving north on the 101, you won't be able to see the tower anymore. When I first drove up the 101, aside from the Hollywood sign, the Capitol Records building was the only landmark that really let me know I was in Hollywood. It'll be sad to see it disappear. I'm really pretty shocked that it's not being treated as a respected landmark.</p>
