Maloof Money Cup grinds its way to the Orange County Fair

Maloof Money Cup Street Course
Yeah you have heard of the Palms Casino, and that its owned by these guys called the Maloof brothers who are really good at making things cool. But you didn't know that the Maloofs are doing the same thing to skateboarding.

So they started the Maloof Money Cup, a skateboard contest with the biggest cash prize ever heard of, all the freshest skaters, and its going down July 11-13 at the OC Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa.

And then just to prove that the Maloof's do it best, they designed a realistic street course that doesn't look like some flung together ramps and platforms. It looks like a real street spot, like you're skate-buddies found some abandoned industrial zone packed with fat gaps, rails to grind, and shit to launch off of.

Get your tickets now, before all the good seats are scooped up by some posers. They have all kinds of ticket options from General Admission to VIP Access, but your best bet is the 3-day pass, cuz it also gets you into the fair.

Peep the video, and hear the pros talk about how bad-ass this shit's gonna be.

This is actually looking to shape up to be a pretty cool event.

I was reading about it on skateboard.com earlier today.

Anyone else going?
