I have Helio and it sucks. Don't buy into this blatant product placement advertisement. I was really hoping they'd go under so I wouldn't be charged $200 to cancel.

What does having every app possible mean when the customer service is terrible and the company is sketchy at best. After my experience with Helio my best rec is stay the hell away.

The first time I ever came to Los Angeles (last year) - I could not believe that almost everyone had one of these phones. They weren't popular in Florida when I lived there and I didn't see a single person with one when I went to visit family in Missouri. I thought for sure Helio must have been giving them out for free.

I would be wary of buying any phone from Helio at the moment. They are closing all their retail stores, and Virgin Mobile is in the process of buying Helio from SK Telecom and will probably integrate it into their brand. Plans and contract terms may change.
