<description>&lt;p&gt;Ok I&apos;m all for earthquake preparedness.  I have taken the LAFD&apos;s CERT class, my wife and I have a disaster plan in place, full pack of supplies and everything in our loft is strapped down.

But are you seriously reporting on magnitude 1 earthquakes?  Seriously?  Have you taken a look at the USGS site and seen how often they happen?  Every single day for that last million years.
