There's nothing funny about spending nearly five bucks on a gallon of gas, unless you're name is Rex Tillerson or David J. O'Reilly. Those guys and the rest of their big oil buddies are laughing their asses off watching the gas prices rise.

Tonight you can slap down an Abe Lincoln and have more to show for it than just another gallon in the tank. A new comedy show billed as Twelve Shiny Nickels is giving out free beer and high quality stand-up comedy all for the price of $5.

Hollywood's Gardner Stage (1501 N. Gardner Street) plays host to the show that is bringing together 12 comics to perform their best five minutes of material every Friday and Saturday night. Tonight's impressive lineup includes Ryan Stout, the host of "A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila" and Nikki Glaser of Last Comic Standing fame. Show starts at 11pm.
