Last Saturday, the Art and Mayhem Gallery (MySpace) held its Summer Camp (MySpace) show, featuring artwork by Arty, Billie Stone, Chris Cleary, Christopher "Ssippi," Chris Pastras, Dix Denney, Homey Chris, Jason Mason, Jennifer Lee, Julia Tcharfas, Kevin "AssJoker" Rutmanis, Marcella, Michael Hsiung, Rachel Pitler, and Robert Meinhardt, as well as performances by local bands Baseck (MySpace), Electrocute (MySpace), The Lady Tigra (MySpace), Jer Ber Jones (MySpace), and We Are The World (MySpace). There were also DIY crafts and typical camp activities in-between the musical sets such as tug-of-war, egg toss, and the three-legged race.

Summer Camp was also something of an unofficial release party for Electrocute's new On the Beat EP, produced by Junkie XL -- three tracks on his album Booming Back at You (one of which, "Mad Pursuit," is also on the 21 soundtrack) feature vocals by Electrocute -- and featuring The Lady Tigra on the appropriately-titled "Tiger Toy."
