Art Openings: Miracle Mile, Modernists, Eichlers

Celebrate summer this Saturday while enjoying the art of the Miracle Mile!

Voila! Gallery is hosting this month’s Miracle Mile Art Walk, featuring an artist lecture, guided tour, and food courtesy of Sante La Brea. The “Holly Trolley” will also be on hand to shuttle folks from gallery to gallery beginning at 1pm. Download your map here. – 1-5pm


In commemoration of its fifth anniversary, Spencer Jon Helfen Fine Arts is presenting the special exhibit Figurative Art in California During the Modern Period. A rare collection of significant works from 1910-1950, by the states foremost Modernists. Sculpture, paintings, prints and more will be on view. – thru Sept. 28th

In keeping with the modern theme, Terrence Rogers in Santa Monica is presenting new works by suburbia painter Danny Heller. Eichlers: A Modern Vision will feature several oil paintings portraying the works of the celebrated mid-century architect.

These vivid paintings are sure be coveted by all the Eichler & mid-century enthusiasts out there! - thru July 31st
