while the majority of items on Fred 62's menu are pretty bland I do love their sloppy Joes. When I lived in the hood and got the munchies at 2 a.m. I was glad I could walk down the block to satisfy my hunger. Agree on the sub par service though. When walking up Hillhurst I always make sure to cross the street before I walk pass Home so I don't walk in front of it.

Most places I've been to in LA seem to have truly atrocious service. It's incredibly rare when I find a restaurant where the actors, erm, waiters, are quick, knowledgeable, and nice. The mac and cheese at fred 62 really is it's only redeeming quality. Little bit of tabasco in it, YUM.

Fred 62 has horrible service, but those mac and cheese balls is yummers. ditto ye rustic wings. Home has caused more food poisoning than that spinach salmonella case last year. furthermore, they have been littering the neighborhood with their menus for 3 years running. I have received no less than 30 of them. Their food sucks. I hate that place. oh, and Yuca's has the best burgers in LA.

you should travel more in los feliz . theres so much more than two parallel streets .
