I hope justice is served and she gets some punishment that fits the crime. Sadly I'm not very optimistic.

Your wrong. This is trial by jury. They will argue and prove that she 'intended to cause emotional distress.' She will be found guilty and get 5 years. My prediction. Still, no one wins.

Legally I think it's gonna be an uphill battle to prove the elements based on Computer Fraud and Abuse Act. Just sad that... there isn't any other way yet, to find justice in this case. I don't even know if Megan Meier's family file a civil suit... will get anything. Just another drag out long legal battle for ... nothing at the end most likely. p.s. I'm not an attorney :-)

Sadly, she'll get away with it. But at least she knows the world hates her. Her offspring should be taken away.
