Make Music Pasadena is this weekend (The Raveonettes, Dengue Fever, Kinky, The Little Ones, Nortec Collective, Jesca Hoop, Division Day and Everest.), the Sunset Strip Music Festival is coming at the end of this month (L.A. Guns, Hot Hot Heat, Juliette & The Licks, Everclear, Soul Asylum, Louis XIV and The 88), Sunset Junction will be later on (Cold War Kids, Antibalas Afrobeat Orchestra, Issac Hayes, Kinky, Broken Social Scene and The Black Keyes) and Grand Performances is rocking it every weekend (Seun Kuti & Egypt 80 this weekend).
Now, add this the list of great music festivals for the summer: HARD Summer Festival will have up to 10,000 people on July 19 from 9:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. at the Shrine Auditorium (indoors and outdoors event). The line-up includes N.E.R.D., MSTRKRFT, Kid Sister, A-Trak, Steve Aoki, Jason Bentley and many others. This is the second event by producers of the HARD brand. On New Years Eve, they hosted Justice and others for an outdoor festival and on Halloween, they will hold HARD Haunted Mansion with Crystal Castles and more bands to be announced.

Hey Zach, maybe I'm just easily bothered by unimportant things, but couldn't the formatting be done better at the beginning of each post?
It always goes something like "Photo by Jsome1 via Flickr Make Music Pasadena is this weekend ..." when you're looking at any given post from the main LAist webpage--and that lack of a period or some other kind of separation between the photo credit and the start of the post bugs me..
