Little tiny ninjas take to the stage to perform Shakespeare’s Macbeth tonight and tomorrow. These “actors” are the plastic kind found in vending machines by artistic director Dov Weinstein. The action will be presented from a briefcase-sized stage and projected to monitors, so don’t fret about missing the action.

There’s a panel discussion tonight on the future content of the Internet (and how TV will probably never be the same again). Panelists include Amanda Congdon, Strike.tv, Michael Pilla, among many, many others. Salman Rushdie, author of The Satanic Verses and ex-husband to Top Chef’s Padma Lakshmi, makes an appearance at Town Hall-LA tonight. He’ll be in conversation with Carrie Fisher to discuss his latest work Enchantress of Florence.

Kebab Connection, directed by Anno Saul, is a “wacky Turkish-German Kung Fu comedy tale of two fast food stands (one Turkish, the other Greek), a frustrated filmmaker, the coolest commercial of all time, intercultural love, forbidden romance and centuries-old Aegean rivalry. And we mustn’t forget the local mafia, either!” (They had us as Turkish-German Kung Fu comedy.)
