An extremist is one who carries ideas foolishly too far. Why is it that the most uncivilized critics and protestors were once the most dedicated fanatics of the Church, many, part of the Church's secret police force, Sea Organization or staff members? Because no matter how you position yourselves or on which side of the fence, you are still just being an extremist.

chewyandbert: You, Sir, are an idiot. You spoke to someone ELSE, and they didn't know anything about scientology, and therefore no-one else will know anything about them either?

Shawn Lonsdale
Ken Ogger
Lisa McPhearson
Elli Perkins
Flo Barnett

Just some of the people killed by scientology. Do you really think Flo Barnett committed suicide by shooting herself FOUR times? Do you think it's ok that Lisa McPhearson starved to death over more than 10 days, and no-one was ever held accountable? Do you think it's ok that there exists a "religion" which requires you to sign an indemnification agreement to join?

The Oracle, chewyandbert and Emoney think this is OK. They don't care. Some of us, on the other hand, are trying to do something about it, and make the world a slightly better place. It's unfortunate that we also make the world a better place for people like these three, as well, but life was never fair. A few people put in the effort and everyone benefits, even the ones who don't deserve to.

Oh, you took it to a new level alright. I saw your group spiraling into sadism (very contagious) with the videos being promoted and gloated over on the forums, of you people tormenting and humiliating people. A.K.A. Scientology Snuff Films. O.K., sadism is contagious. But I didn't expect, but I should have known, you people would drag little kids into the sadism. That's a covert form of child abuse. Can't you think of anything else to do for applause? That's really pathetic. With your masks and costumes and sadistic flows and the lost looking children being pimped into your agenda you look like a cult yourself.

Great Pics!

I love Anonymous! Finally the masses are coming out and bringing the truth out loud & clear about the Cult of Scientology!

One day this will be in the history books! Can we first get the Purification Rundown banned as it is dangerous to peoples health! One step at a time, bye bye Scientology.

Thank you Anonymous for taking the critic movement to another level!

Dan Branson. You're protesting something you know virtually nothing about. It's almost complete BS. I spoke to a few protestors two months ago. Question: "Really, why are you here?". Answer: "To Party Man!!" Laugh. And by the way any group such as yours that has links to porn, drug implements, etc., I don't think I'd have a great deal of confidence in.

DanBranson: I totally dig the protesting, as I've been aware of Scientology's evil ways for years, long before recent Anonymous actions. I'm a Mark Bunker fan, I'm a subscriber of Tory's channel, etc. My thing is that, I think there needs to be a day when all the masks come off, be they the Vendetta masks or bandanas, because, personally, I feel the masks are a sign of weakness, giving Scientology, still, a feeling of power they don't deserve. Honestly, I've made it to only one protest so far, but I didn't hide my face. The only reason I have to hide my face is due to ugliness.

Pickleturp: Besides protesting, Anonymous employs many other tactices: we are sending postcards into Scientologies internal prison (SP Hall), we research Scientologies shady business practices, we alert government agencies to instances where the cult is breaking the law and we make secret writings about the inner working available to the public (most of it is on Wikileaks). Of course, these actions are less in the public eye, and will take months/years to bear fruit.

But most importantly, our anonymous protests provides a save environment for ex-members to finally speak out against the cult. For years, they have hidden in silence, fearing the cult's nefarious intimidation tactics that they know all too well because they are cheered at in internal events.

To people reading Emoney/chewyandbert posts. Think about why people would be protesting an organization they only know from the internet. They are internet savvy people, and more than anyone else they know that information on the internet cannot be taken on face value. However, the evidence that abuses are committed by the cult on a large scale, are solid. It consists of internal documents, judge rulings and hundreds of testimonies.

And what are those abuses? Well, they are a lot worse than you think. Please Google scientology in combination with words such as abuse, slave labor, child labor or forced abortion, and take a look at the hit count. For the best collection of evidence on the cult's practices, please visit xenu-directory.net.

And to Emoney/chewyandbert. Although we are currently on different sides of a divide, we are protesting because we care. For you. We don't want you to throw any more money into a bottomless pit (I am sorry but you will not gain super powers by 'donating' money to Scientology). We don't want you to get disconnected from your loved ones. We don't want you to end up in the internal prison system, the RPF or it's equivalent for lower level members, the Security Rundown. And yes, people will leave and people will join Anonymous, but there will be protestors until Anonymous decides Scientology is no longer a threat to society.

Please visit Enturbulation.org to understand more about a movement which in itself is fascinating and join us July 12th for the next worldwide protests (100+ cities, 5000+ people)against a organization that should not be allowed to thrive unchallenged. Remember: the ultimate goal of this organization is world domination.

Some of these kids don't even look old enough to understand what they are protesting. Leave the children out of petty 'politics.' In this day and age, it's bad enough that kids are growing up too fast to enjoy their childhood.

Protest all you want but keep the kids out of this. They don't need to be involved. Informed, yes but you never know what some nut job will do to get back at someone protesting.

First Guy Fawkes, now pirates? I'm all for calling out Scientology's idiocy and applaud the effort, but still can't get past the Vendetta look. The pirate look isn't much better.

Some husky pirates there in the first photo.
This "movement" has lost steam. The Boston "protest" was a handful as was the Clearwater. Students out for a few beers.
