Florence Handley runs a cat adoption service in Pomona, and the 81-year-old has been taking her work home with her, even when her "work" involved animals who had gone on to pet heaven.

A recent inspection of her business led the Inland Valley Humane Society to dispatch officers to her home on Thursday, where they discovered "115 dead animals stuffed into homemade coffins," along with "155 cats in homemade caskets in a garage" according to the LA Times.

But there's more to her menagerie: 17 sick cats were removed from the premises while 69 cats, 2 rats, and 2 rabbits were left "under supervision." Unfortunately, 5 of the cats were too ill to survive and were euthanized. Handley and her son were charged with animal cruelty; she explained that all the animals "died of natural causes."
