Tickets Less than a Gallon of Gas on Father's Day

Hey, did you hear something about gas prices being really high? There was something on the news and a little blurb on the inter-web the other day. So what can you do for dear ol' dad this Sunday that won't burn up your wallet and set your pants on fire like a liar, liar? Well, you can keep the car in the garage, jump on the Metrolink, and head down to Anaheim to see some hot interleague action as the Angels take on Chipper Jones (.414 BA, 15 HR) and the Atlanta Braves (32-35).
Here's the happy part. If you buy your tickets at the stadium on Sunday and just say the word "Dad", any ticket in the view section is only $3. Seriously. So Grandpa, Dad, you, and your three kids can get in for less than twenty bucks. Plus, the train drops you off in the freaking parking lot there. It's good to be lazy and help the environment at the same time, like a cross between Peter Griffin and Al Gore. Alter Gorffin.
The Angels (41-26) have been on a tear lately. They have the best record in the American League, second best in the Majors. Vladimir Guerrero's bat has come to life recently, going 4 for 4 the other day versus the surprising Tampa Bay Rays. Catalyst Chone Figgins is scheduled to return to the line-up tonight after several weeks on the DL.
Angel Stadium is located at 2000 Gene Autry Way in Anaheim.
Gametime is 5:05PM

Awesome! An angels game that is cheaper than gas! I just filled up yesterday and 11 gallons was like 50 bucks!! Thanks for writing about that, I might check it out. Also someone told me about this woman from India who goes around hugging people. She is the "Hugging Saint." Anyways, I was looking into going to check out what she does in LA next week, but it seems like she is making some people angry with her choice of venue. Maybe you can make something interesting out of this: http://hugthiscause.wordpress.com.
