caliking01 and johnny, i don't understand you comments. So you aren't pete wentz fans... who cares. were you kennedy fans? carson daily fans? Was Downtown Julie Brown really talented? And I hope you guys realize that you are watching a teenager channel. That doesn't mean that you have to be a teenager, but obviously that's the target audience. If you were watching MTV in the early 90s' then you don't get it because you're too old. and someone talking for 60 seconds, then playing a video... THAT'S WHAT THIS SHOW IS. seriously, you are all judging something you have never seen before. At least have an informed opinion before you begin to hate on the show.

um...who has the attention to watch a 3 minute video? not today's kids -- not even me (anymore). -- how the hell did I ever pay attention in the 80s? The Internet (click/move at will) has given me ADD, I swear.

I'm with you there Caliking, Pete Wentz? He's not even the talent in his group. He's just the pretty boy(I use the term loosely)for Fall Out Boy. I guess MTV is using him the same way.

Whatever happened to having some regular music lover talk for 60 seconds about a band and then throw to video like in the early 90's. Just fucking play videos already! They will never learn over at MTV. PETE FUCKING WENTZ?! REALLY?? Bring the VJ back!

TarPitRob, there were all kinds of cool videos that i did not mention. I did not want to entirely spoil the show for those who are excited to see it premiere. I DO back you on your points. I too would love to see the return of the 2 dollar bill concerts. But don't call FN MTV a failure before you have ever even seen it. That's not very fair. It could be that this show just isn't YOUR cup of tea. And even if it isn't, i bet you'll admit that "the kids these dayz will love it" you know what i mean?

Don't get me wrong, anything is better (including static) than more Hills episodes, I just think that with all the great stuff out there, especially based out of the LA scene, they can do MUCH better than the Gym Class Heroes pretending to be Lester Bangs, the Godawful Pussycat Dolls and a Flo-Rida (?) video. Whatever happened to the 2 dollar bill concerts, where they would broadcast shows from the likes of the Roots and such?
