The city of West Hollywood is hosting a town hall-style meeting to discuss "information on the latest legal maneuvers surrounding the gay marriage issue -- including the upcoming November ballot measure that would reinstate the ban and the state Supreme Court's refusal to block same-sex marriages in the interim," according to KCBS. Additionally, Rong-Gong Lin II at the LA Times is taking questions and answering them online.

Expected attendees include West Hollywood Councilman John Duran, Lambda Legal senior counsel Jenny Pizer and representatives from the Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian Center, Equality California and the Los Angeles County clerk's office.

Although, the state will allow gay marriages to begin at end the business day on June 16th, West Hollywood and LA County as a whole will begin issuing marriage licenses on Tuesday, June 17.

The meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center's Renberg Theatre at the Village at Ed Gould Plaza, 1125 N. McCadden Place.
