Found in LA: Laker Pride Is All in the Ride

FoundInLALakerRide.jpg

There's a little sporting event going on in Los Angeles tonight, just in case you hadn't heard... Of course, these folks really take being fans of our side of the NBA Finalists to a whole new level in their purple-and-gold emblazoned ride. LAist Featured Photos contributor victoriabernal snapped this shot of these Lakers uber-fans driving near the Staples Center.

Ready for tonight's Game 4 match-up between our boys and their longtime Bostonian rivals? Here's hoping it'll be a prettier win than Tuesday's game. Where will you be watching the game? If you're a gazillionaire, you might be willing to shell out over $80k for that courtside seat, and be all Jack Nicholson about it. No matter where you end up, though, sports fans, try to keep the brawling to a minimum!

Let's go Lakers!!!!

Let's go Laker crowd. I was there for game 3 (yes, it hurt the wallet quite a bit), and the lack of noise -- and attention paid to the game -- by most of the crowd was embarassing. Put your blackberry away, don't worry about the hotties in the crowd (they're going home with the sugar daddy who brought them, not you), pay attention to the game and give our team a REAL home court advantage! It will inspire the players on our team whose confidence is a little low (Lamar, Pau, some of the young guys on the bench) and sometimes it can even shake up players on the opposing team.

It hurts to hear commentators talk about how apathetic the late arriving L.A. crowd is -- and know that it's true. Let's build a new reputation, starting tonight.

ugly.

I think you mean fugly
