Update: Bad news. "Due to illness, this evening's Beck performance at the Echoplex has been cancelled.. Tickets will be refunded through Ticketweb."
After two unannounced secret shows, Beck has finally booked a concert he is announcing: tomorrow night at the Echoplex. Tickets go on sale today at 5:00 p.m. and you need the password (CHEMTRAILS).
There's a two-ticket limit and there will be a very limited amount available at the door on a first come, first serve basis (read: wait in long for a long time).

Password: CHEMTRAILS2 ticket limit. The only way to retrieve your tickets is at will call the night of the show. You MUST bring the credit card you used to purchase tickets and a matching, government-issued photo ID to the box office the night of the show. These tickets are non-transferable.
A limited number of tickets will be available at the door the night of the show on a first come, first served basis for $25 cash.
General Information: Ages 18+. Doors open at 7pm. Show starts at 8pm

jesus christ. it sold out in 90 seconds. i was hitting refresh and the site froze cause so many people were probably doing the same thing and now theres not even tickets!!!!!
keep trying. i tried and tried, got on right at 5 and my site froze (i even have a super high speed connection), but my brother managed to get through just a few minutes ago...so keep trying!

I just got mine. It wasn't sold out as of around 5:10. You just had to keep trying the access code.
BTW, thank god for LAist. I would have never heard about this unless I randomly checked out the site at around 5:06.
I still don't understand it: Beck's appeal. He's mastered blandness.
Does anyone know what time he's supposed to go on? It says music at 8pm, but is that an opening band or is it just him?
