Allain, thank you. You're right, the photo, although relevant to this past weekend, is out of context. I've been covering this issue almost five days a week and finding rights-free photos has been become harder and harder (unless I begin to repeat photos). I needed a photo and needed one fast. Pride Weekend photos were something at hand and were relevant, so I just used one of them. As to the pun, it was not intentional. I use "in the end" often when referring to time, especially when there is no hard date attached to it. I didn't even realize it was a pun until I saw the first comment.

It still kills me that people can't see this as an obvious civil rights issue... Calling a same-sex marriage a legal union, and treating a same-sex divorce like a business split, is so "separate but equal".
