Looks and sounds awesome Elise.
Couple of questions;
How close are they to the Noho Redline Station? (looks pretty close, but sometimes online maps can be decieving)
Do the greens have meat in them? How about the other vegetable dishes? (ok for me, but I have vegan friends)
I'm looking forward to checking them out. Thanks for doing the review!

I would say it's very close to the Red and Orange Line nexus. 5 minute walk, maybe?

Yeah it's not a far walk at all... go north on Lankershim towards the Ford Dealership past Burbank.

I would say one to two big city blocks - easy on a pleasant day, but it is a lot of concrete that can make the heat intense if the day is a scorcher.
Although the greens do not have pork bits visible or discernable to the palate, traditional Southern food is NOT vegan-friendly. This place is pretty old-school. If something doesn't have pork fat in it, it probably has butter.
When I was vegan I had to make my own soul food. When places avoided pork for Muslims, they usually replaced it with smoked turkey or with lamb. Maybe I will do a recipe post this weekend. Good idea!

Thanks Elise!
A tip for vegan soul food recipes calling for bacon.
Bacos! They are made from soy, and meatless.
