" Eric G.'s aspirations are in serving in the U.S. Congress."

I vote for him. I'd be sorry to see his local influence leave for Washington.

Do you know which Congressional District he'd be running for Militant?

A good number of the Militant's operatives know Garcetti's staff (and even the Council President Himself) really well and they tell him that Eric G.'s aspirations are in serving in the U.S. Congress.

As for running for mayor -- why the hell would he give up another run for council and an equally likely chance of being selected Council President again only to take up a less powerful position?
