Is the city of Los Angeles suing or the county? The article isn't very clear about that.

My internet is OK, actually. But 30 seconds on hold?? That's effin' offensive. But what REALLY pisses me off is the lack of HD programming. In my area the infrastructure is particularly bad (although they've had plenty of time to work on it...). I have a DVR but no Moxi - the interface looks like the very first cable box you ever had with that scrolling programming guide from the late 80s. We don't get HD on demand... well, correct that we've had "HD On Demand Showcase" for about two months but the only content there is stuff you've already seen or stuff they couldn't pay you to watch. My apartment manager is difficult at best so Direct TV isn't really an option.I hope there's a class action suit because I want a lot of my money back.

Throw in Charter as well. I finally dumped cable to go with Direct TV. Many more HD channels, more reliable, and in some cases cheaper. I feel bad for people who have no other options other than cable since their buildings won't allow dishes to be installed on to the exterior.

Great news! I'm trying to not shake my monitor while listening to some pathetic defender of TWCable talking to Larry Mantle.

Worst customer service ever, and most inconsistent internet connection I've had since AOL 3.0.

Could this become a federal issue as well? I feel that the utter lack of interest in improving service and providing troubleshooting repairs is directly related to the fact that Time Warner has absolutely no competition in the hi-speed cable internet market.

While there are the Speakeasys, and smaller DSL providers in LA, broadband service is largely monopolized by AT&T and Time Warner. Prices rise as quality of service decreases.

Is this class action? Sign me up, baby!
