Police say that 28-year-old Juan Campos, allegedly of Brownsville, Texas, was apparently drunk and fell asleep when he crashed into a bicycle race near Matamoros, Mexico, which is near the U.S. border. At least one person was killed and 14 were injured. The 24-kilometer race, which took place on Sunday, had only started 15-minutes prior to the incident.

Texass, I bet he gets the needle.

Dear god. that picture is awful. Most commented coming soon.

When I first saw that picture on MSNBC.com last night my first thought was that it couldn't be a real photo. It's just so horrific that it had to be enhanced somehow. I checked, it wasn't.

Only 1 fatality?! Holy crap!

too bad that cop car on the right didn't attempt to block the car, rather than dodging it. he didn't even have his lights on.

I couldn't make out what the picture was at first. Unbelievable.

The worst part of the photo? The helmet just hanging there in the middle of the air over the left side of the car.

seriously, peekist... sacrifice a few dozen human lives to save a cop car. sounds pretty equitable...

that picture is one of the most unsettling things i have ever seen. longer bike ride home from work tonight than usual.

one cyclist's shoe went flying. this photo is unreal.

Apparently milkcratethieves is chosing to represent themselves as the poster child for wit and wisdom on this posting...congrats buddy, you said what im sure we were all thinking

The photo is horrible but come on, "SPARE!" made me LOL for real in my office and I ride a bike.

what the hell who is drunk that early in the morning

Maybe the operative word is STILL drunk.

I bet the guy to the immediate left of the car was kissing the ground when he got off his bike.

In this case it wouldn't have mattered what side of the road he was on...he was bound to hit somebody...what a shame!

Don't Drink & Drive...it KILLS!
