If you love going to really random festivals, then you should definitely check out the Los Angeles Accordion Festival this weekend. With three days of music featuring the [timeless?] accordion, who can resist?

Italian artist Valerio Venture premieres his new collection tonight featuring his new short film, a collection of paintings and photographs, and a preview of his urban clothing line entitled, Exit Brand. Capsole hosts a new show dedicated to one of the most … anticipated… films this year, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skulls, Artists Bob Conge and the Sucklord have created pieces inspired by the previous three films including an Indy Mummy with a motion activated LED unit.

STAGE
As I mentioned last weekend, Daniel Beaty performs in his play, “Emergency” at the Geffen Playhouse. Tonight, however, is a very special [and final] performance and reception dedicated to children affected by abuse, neglect, and community violence. The price is a bit steep, but all proceeds go to the Children’s Institute to help these mistreated kids.
