STAGE
As I mentioned last weekend, Daniel Beaty performs in his play, “Emergency” at the Geffen Playhouse. Tonight, however, is a very special [and final] performance and reception dedicated to children affected by abuse, neglect, and community violence. The price is a bit steep, but all proceeds go to the Children’s Institute to help these mistreated kids.

7 p.m. // Geffen Playhouse // 10886 Le Conte Ave., Los Angeles // (213) 807-1984 // $125-250
