I Did it with a Wiffle Ball Bat this Weekend

With the Western Conference Champion Los Angeles Lakers (ahhhhhhh, that's nice) on hold for a week and the Blue Crew in the Big Apple taking on the Metropolitans, there's free stuff in Anaheim this weekend at Angel Stadium. The Angels (32-23) take on the Toronto Blue Jays (30-26) tonight through Sunday afternoon. Every Friday night home game ends with Big Bang fireworks which feel pretty damn close, especially if you're up in the nose bleeds. You may get a singed eyebrow or two.

Saturday night's game offers the best give-away ever. Yes, it's wiffle ball and bat night. Technically it's Vladimir Guerrero wiffle ball and bat night for all kids ages 2-18. If you don't have kids or aren't one, throw on some Hot Topic gear, drop that DC cap over the brow, and walk through the gates complaining about Mr. Johnson's algebra final. Dude, he never even taught us half that shit!

Family Sunday rounds out the weekend with tickets in the Family Picnic Zone as low as $12 for adults and $5 for the kiddies. Those seats are in the sun the whole time, so it may not be the best for the smallest of humans; infants not Gary Coleman. Oh yeah, and there's a baseball game going on, too.
