From fiction and business books to green books and cookbooks (and wine guides -- a bonus for this Wine Novice), writers, publishers and booksellers are hob-knobbing and handing out invites to tonight's biggest book parties.

On various panels throughout the day, the future of publishing, the rise of e-books and the power of social networking are being hotly debated. Will Google's book search become the de-facto choice among searchers? The topic is already the talk of several circles and is sure to be part of the conversation at events tonight.
