There's no such thing as too much sex! (No, this is not a plug for the Sex and the City movie that happens to be coming out this weekend...but yes, I do already have tickets. What.)
That's why we were so titillated to find out that In the Flesh, a monthly erotic reading series curated in New York by Rachel Kramer Bussel (Caught Looking, He's on Top, Naughty Spanking Stores from A to Z 1 and 2), is coming to Los Angeles. Writers are invited to share their sexy, steamy stories live, and past participants have included the likes of Lily Burana, Stephen Elliott and Martha Garvey.
The L.A. series, which will take place the last Thursday of every month, will be curated by writer Carly Milne (Sexography, Hooking Up, Naked Ambition), and the kickoff theme for May is Survival. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's hoping that this will mean at least one shameless reference to Gloria Gaynor.
The event is free, but $10 donations are suggested. The proceeds will go to the Rape and Incest National Network.
