I didn’t have a good feeling about game two. I really thought the Spurs would come out angry after blowing a 20-point third quarter lead in game one. But I didn’t think the anger would amount to a three-year old’s temper tantrum.

After watching Jordan Farmar’s block of Ime Udoka on a fast-break opportunity in the second quarter:

Everyone in the world would see the Spurs were done in this game.

Yes I was completely wrong, but why can’t I get the fear of the Spurs crawling back into this series out of my system?

Well perhaps I’m looking too much in their series with the Hornets where they were demolished the first two games on the road but returned the favor at home. It was astonishing how a team that looked overmatched in New Orleans could come back to San Antonio and destroy a team with Chris Paul and David West.

For tonight’s game back in San Antonio, I just don’t see how San Antonio will dominate the Lakers like they did the Hornets. The Lakers are showing they can play swarming defense, and the Spurs don’t have an answer. True Tim Duncan is getting his points, and most likely Tony Parker will have a better game three. But like Charles Barkley says, if those two get their 20 points that’s only a total of 40. And that ain’t going to win a game.

The Lakers must go into the AT&T Center with the mindset like this is a game one. They must show the same amount of energy that they did in the first two games and never let the Spurs get a whiff of the series.

Look for Sasha Vujacic and Jordan Farmar to have huge contributions off the bench. The Lakers will win tonight by 13 points.
