Parker definitely have an edge over Fisher in the offense/defense matchup. But I'm happy with Farmar's work on Parker on the 4th, as well as Sasha's work on Manu. The Lakers bench just have to keep it as tough mentally and physically like they did in Game 1, then Lakers should have the edge over the Spurs.

Bunch of fans also chime in on Yelp

Fisher and Odom will not have another bad game. Look for them to contribute better tonight. If they do the Lakers will win comfortably.

While I hope the Lakers hit the court shooting lights out, I can't help but fear that they'll be arrive a little cocky and piss-proud. I see the Spurs coming with a lot of energy and big fat chip on their shoulders and pulling out to a medium-sized lead at the half - somewhere in the 5-9 pt. range.

Hopefully, the Lakers will at this point ramp up the intensity, clamp down defensively and pull out to comfy 6+ pt lead throughout the final 24min.

Let the Spurs shoot their wad early, and then mop their tired asses up in the 2nd half.

Kobe needs to get off to a hot start and take the Spurs' heart EARLY. The Lakers cannot afford to fall behind by 20 again.

The Hornets showed in the last round that if you bury the Spurs, they are not a team that will come back on you. Since their offense is a halfcourt heavy motion, dictated on positioning shooters around Duncan and the occasional drive to the hole from Parker or Manu, it is imperative that they take away one of those (the penetration) and keep the Spurs buried under and avalanche of fast break points and free throws. Anyhow they get into a half court battle with these guys, they are done.

Whew- After all that, I expect the Lakers to come out hot and pissed and have a BIG win tonight. Im calling a 10+ point victory.

the key play was Kobe's steal and 2 points after the missed layup-- it could've been a 9 pt spurs lead, instead it was only 5. Without that play, the Spurs could easily have controlled the rest of the game.
