If you consider having three storefronts in Los Angeles a chain, then PitFire Pizza Company is just that. However, for a chain, their food is excellent. And a few LAist Featured Photos contributors prove that with their photography at each of their locations: NoHo Arts District, Downtown and Westwood.

grilled pineapple, smoked ham and poblano chile pizza: "so good! this was a special pizza for the month/week? i'm not sure, so it's not on their menu. the fresh grilled pineapple was beautifully caramelized and along w/ the subtle heat of the poblano chilies made for a great combo. i think pitfire is a little overlooked in terms of pizza places but i think it turns out some great pizza for a neighborhood joint." They're good. I frequent the downtown one, but I think I prefer Rocket Pizza.
the one in westwood closes too early
For the love Pete... That looks insanely good. I have seen the spot but have never gone in. A mistake I intend to fix soon...
Yeah, give it a try Manny.
Also, a long time ago at the NoHo one, I had their mac and cheese. Extremely good!
screw the pizza, i love their turkey meatballs!!!
I also prefer Rocket Pizza - each time I have gone into Pitfire it's been disappointing.
I really enjoy Pitfire, been both to the Westwood and Downtown locations, and it's delicious every time!
Pitfire (Westwood) is a good value but the food isn't fantastic to the point of being able to overlook poor service. Every time we go there, they manage to screw up our order. It's gotten to the point where we've stopped asking for modifications and just order off the menu. We weren't asking for difficult things either. Just stuff like no onions or dressing on the side.
I do think they are understaffed. At least twice, we've been in line to order and the cashier answers the phone while taking our order. I find this rather rude.
I know I sound negative but I'm not. I really like the atmosphere and the food is good enough. If they could address these two issues, I'd feel better about the place.
Only been to the Downtown location and despite the nice decor, I've laways been underwhelmed. Rocket is hands down better.
Great sangria, free wi-fi, Lohan appearances... its a NoHo Must Go.
Their Burrata pizza is to die for! and the pasta bolognese...mmmmmm!! I've never had a bad experience there..always very friendly and great service at Westwood and NOHO, haven't tried Downtown yet.
