Eye Nosh: That's What a Hamburger's All About

InNOutBurgerComboEating.jpg

LAist Featured Photos pool contributer 护士黑鹰 calls this shot "The Drill." As in, you know it.

In'n'Out has long been heralded as "the" ultimate SoCal fast food burger. The company gets either flak or praise for their practices (i.e. Bible verses on the paper products) and their burgers the same. But for the burger fans among us: We know exactly what this picture tastes like...

I'll take this over Tommy's 9.5 times out of 10. Maybe more. As for the Bible verses, meh. I just cover them with ketchup.

come to think of it...its kinda funny that they put bible verses on the wrapper, under the cup and I think with the fries....its like opening up the bible and using it as a plate.

Two Double Doubles, with grilled onions. NO lettuce and NO tomates (cant stand a salad hinding in my burger!). And a large lemonade to wash it down!

Thats my order all the time... EVERY time! Tommy's has NOTHING on In-N-Out.

I never noticed bible verses... maybe because Im too busy scraping the melted cheese off my burger wrapper with my teeth!

MAN. I take my Double Double ANIMAL STYLE.

3 x 3 animal style w/ animal fries. Usually w/ a strewberry shake. I don't go too often but when I do I go all out,one in a while I'll try to eat a 4 x 4!

Yes, I'm fat.

#1, plain, no toast.

mmmmm....

Hamburger with pickles & onion, extra everything, medium rare.

Double-double animal style no tomato with animal style fries.

Double-double animal style with extra toast and fries well done. Plenty 'o ketchup and an Arnold Palmer and that's how it's done.

3 X 3, grilled onions. and a cheeseburger, grilled onions, protein style (i know, makes no sense). no fries - they're not good. lots of extra ketchup. chocolate & vanilla shake. In 'N Out might be the greatest fast-food burger on the planet.

How did I not know about the bible verses? Ew... but yum!

Was reading about it on snopes. They list what verse is on what item. Interesting...

Apparently many of us agree on the preferred platform:

Double double, animal style

I think I'll have one tonight, since for me, dropping someone off at LAX = reason to visit In-n-Out.
