Three festivals run today and tomorrow: the Venice Art Walk & Auctions, California Strawberry Festival in Oxnard and Guacamole Festival in Lincoln Heights.

Mixing the old with the new, this team incorporates comedy, illusion and theatre in their show, “Escape Reality” where one of their many acts involves 39 steel spikes falling at them from above.

DERBY
The Angel City Derby Girls are back with an all-girls roller derby exhibition, Smile Now, Cry Later. The two home teams, Shore Shots and the Block Steady Crew, compete to secure their domination of their home rink.
